Located off of I43 in Waukesha, opened for play in 2001, Morningstar Golfer's Club features dramatic elevation changes throughout the course. Laid out around a former quarry, these elevation changes, some reaching more than 100 feet, are the key component of a course with virtually no level lies. In a subtle way, Morningstar features “target golf.” Shots must be played to landing areas flanked by strategically placed bunkers, mounds, depressions and “transition areas.” Wildflowers and prairie grass plantings add to the natural setting, and water comes into play on six holes. If you want to make it to the Championship field, best to avoid a "rocky" start while enjoying the vista views of Morningstar's stunning topography.
