EVENT 5 - PGA CHAMPIONSHIP @ BROWN DEER PARK GC

  • Brown Deer Park GC 7625 North Range Line Road Glendale, WI, 53209 (map)

It's time to test your golf skills on a course where a golf legend turned pro.  Maintained as part of the Milwaukee County Parks System, Brown Deer Park Golf Course was designed in 1929 by George Hansen, and later partially redesigned by Andy North and Roger Packard.  It was the fourth and final course to host the Greater Milwaukee Open (later rebranded as the U.S. Bank Championship) from 1994 to 2009.  At said PGA Tour event in 1996, Tiger Woods, age 20, would make a very memorable professional debut, draining a hole-in-one with a 6-iron on the 202-yard Par 3 14th.  Jack Nicklaus, Greg Norman, Lee Trevino and Ed Snead (to name a few) have all competed here at some point in their careers, and it's why it's featured as the PGA Championship, our second major of the season.
