Originally designed by Jack Nicklaus and Pete Dye, this Scottish-inspired, links-style course was transformed in 1996 by Bob Cupp and was recently updated in 2006 by Bob Lohmann.  With wide open fairways and lightning quick greens, this is a tight, shot-makers' course that will force golfers to think and play strategic golf. Long ball hitters may need to leave the driver in the bag on several holes so that they can safely play to landing areas, avoiding bunkers and other hazards.  A truly exhaustive golf challenge, it's an added bonus this course is part of a AAA Four-Diamond resort offering wellness programs and spa treatments.  The Highlands at Grand Geneva is absolutely worthy of being our third major, the U.S. Open, in mid July.
